Perfect Union Opens in San Jose, Ribbon Cutting Set for September 16, 2026

SAN JOSE, Calif. A new chapter in California's cannabis retail landscape opened quietly this week as Perfect Union welcomed its first customers through the doors of its new San Jose location. The dispensary, situated at 2220 Business Circle, soft-opened this week and is now proudly serving the San Jose community seven days a week.

The San Jose store marks Perfect Union's entry into one of California's largest and most competitive cannabis markets, a city of nearly a million residents and the third largest in the state, trailing only Los Angeles and San Diego, according to the U.S. Census Bureau, Data USA, and Wikipedia's compiled census figures.

While the doors are already open, the celebration is just getting started. Perfect Union San Jose will host an official Ribbon Cutting ceremony on Wednesday, September 16, at 9 a.m. Shoppers can expect 52% off a wide catalog of California's most recognized cannabis brands, including Kanha, Lime, Cap City, Buddies, Stiiizy, Halfpipe, and dozens more, alongside doorbusters, brand demos, food trucks, and live music throughout the four days. The first 200 guests to shop in person on September 16 will receive limited edition Perfect Union San Jose totes and tees, while supplies last.

Perfect Union credits its grand opening sponsors for helping bring the celebration to life, with Kanha and Lime signed on as Platinum Sponsors and Buddies, Stiiizy, and Halfpipe rounding out the Gold Sponsor tier. Silver Sponsors include Yada Yada, Friendly Brand, Home Grown, Jetty Extracts, Turn, Claybourne Co., Mr. Zips, Papa’s Herb, Emerald Bay Extracts, Autumn Brands, Camino, Cake, Connected, Pax, and Maven. All sponsors help bring the music, food trucks, giveaways and fun to the Ribbon Cutting event Wednesday September 16, 2026 at 9 am.

The San Jose location arrives through a local equity partnership, pairing Perfect Union's retail experience with community-driven ownership. Giau Nguyen, the store's Social Equity Owner, built a path to ownership through the City of San Jose's Cannabis Equity Business Academy, a city-run program that trains local equity applicants to build and run cannabis businesses.

Inside, the San Jose store reflects Perfect Union's welcoming style, giving guests room to browse flower, concentrates, edibles, beverages, vapes, wellness products, and accessories from California's leading cannabis brands, all supported by a knowledgeable retail staff. The store features custom designed 3D art on the countertops that features local San Jose favorite locals designed specifically for its new neighborhood.
