Cold pours, an October afternoon, and a good excuse to be out with friends. Perfect Union is sponsoring the I Can Fight Cancer Brewfest again this year, and our booth is making its return.

Catch us Saturday, Oct. 17, at the Grounds, 700 Event Center Dr, Roseville, CA 95678. VIP entry starts at 1:00 p.m., and general admission runs from 2-5 p.m. This is a 21+ event.

Raising a Glass

Now in its third year, Brewfest is put on by the Sacramento Beer Enthusiasts and raises money for the Albie Aware Breast Cancer Foundation, the largest nonprofit in the Sacramento area focused entirely on breast cancer. 

The foundation started in 2004, when Doug Carson founded it in honor of his wife, Alberta "Albie" Carson, who lost her fight with breast cancer in 2002.

“Albie Aware cannot exist without the support of our community,” Carson said. “Perfect Union plays a significant role in making our work possible, allowing us to help hundreds of people each year. Our mission is to provide life-saving breast cancer testing, prevention, education, advocacy, and compassionate support. Our sponsors and donors make it possible for us to save lives.”

30+ Breweries, One Afternoon

The organizers have lined up tastings from more than 30 breweries, with names like Monk's Cellar, Knee Deep, Flatland, Moksa, Burning Barrel, Crooked Lane, Urban Roots, and Sante Adairius on the list. Many are bringing special VIP-only pours, and more breweries are still being announced.

That 90's Band is playing live, and Phat Jerry's Phillies and Grajedas Mexican Grill will have food covered.
