JULY 7, 2021

Cannabis Retailer to Provide Shasta Lake Community with Quality Products, Consumer Education, One-On-One Service & Impactful Community Partnerships

SHASTA LAKE, Calif. – Today, Perfect Union, a leading cannabis retailer in California, announced it had acquired a fully licensed recreational cannabis dispensary in Shasta Lake, California.

Formerly known as Leave it to Nature, the 1,700 square foot retail space at 5340 Shasta Dam Blvd. will be rebranded as Perfect Union, which is known for quality products, unparalleled service, ongoing staff education and building strong roots in the communities they serve. The company will retain all current employees with plans to hire additional staff, remodel the entire space and double the facility’s square footage by acquiring the commercial space next door. The dispensary also features one of the state’s only drive-thru options for cannabis customers.

“We’re proud to join the Shasta Lake community and deliver a world-class cannabis operation that prioritizes quality in everything we do while giving back to those we serve,” said David Spradlin, CEO of Perfect Union. “We treat customers, employees and neighbors like they are family – because they are. We look forward to building community partnerships to ensure Shasta Lake continues to be a wonderful place to live, work and play.”

Perfect Union’s new cannabis dispensary provides above living wages and benefits, as well as the support and protection afforded to United Food and Commercial Workers International Union (UFCW) workers. The company was one of the first dispensaries in the nation to partner with UFCW to ensure a living wage and health benefits to their hourly employees. The company also provided hazard bonus pay for employees during COVID-19 and called for vaccine prioritization of essential cannabis workers.

The cannabis retailer has over a decade of experience managing profitable cannabis businesses; navigating state and local laws and regulations; and adding value to the communities where they operate. The company has a proven track record of building engagement, social welfare and outreach programs that focus on local partnerships, monetary investments and in-store donation campaigns.

“When we needed help to continue our daughters’ cheerleading program, Perfect Union stepped in with a sponsorship,” said Trish Silva, Shasta Lake resident. “Small acts can create big impacts in our community, and we appreciate them helping our daughters pursue their passion and sport.”

The company is currently seeking new partners in the Shasta Lake community, and interested local nonprofits and residents can visit the Community Partnership Form to connect with the company.
