California’s Largest Cannabis Retailer to Provide Ukiah Community with Quality Products, Consumer Education, One-On-One Service & Impactful Community Partnerships
UKIAH, Calif. – Today, Perfect Union, one of California’s largest cannabis retailers, announced it had acquired a fully licensed medical and recreational cannabis dispensary in Ukiah, California.
Formerly known as Sundialed, the retail space will be rebranded as Perfect Union, which is known for quality products, unparalleled service, ongoing staff education and strong roots in the community. The company will retain all current employees with plans to hire additional staff, as well as integrate improvements, an updated floor plan and outdoor consumption lounge, pending City approval.
“We’re proud to join the Ukiah community and deliver a world-class cannabis operation that prioritizes quality in everything we do while giving back to those we serve,” said David Spradlin, CEO of Perfect Union. “We believe that informed guests are better able to maximize the plant’s benefits, so our highly trained staff are eager to provide Ukiah a level of one-on-one service they can trust and rely on.”
The cannabis retailer’s acquisition will provide above living wages and benefits, as well as the support and protection afforded to United Food and Commercial Workers International Union (UFCW) workers. Perfect Union was one of the first dispensaries in the nation to partner with UFCW to ensure a living wage and health benefits to their hourly employees. The company also provided hazard bonus pay for employees during COVID-19 and called for vaccine prioritization of essential cannabis workers.
Perfect Union has over a decade of experience managing profitable cannabis businesses; navigating state and local laws and regulations; and adding value to the communities where they operate. The company has a proven track record of building engagement, social welfare and outreach programs that focus on local partnerships, monetary investments and in-store donation campaigns.
The company is currently seeking new partners in the Ukiah community, and interested local nonprofits and residents can visit the Community Partnership Form to connect with the company.
