    Weed for Warriors

    Our community outreach coordinator Jen worked with Weed for Warriors in Sacramento, and the Bureau of Cannabis Control to be able to donate products to veterans. Weed for Warriors is a Weed For Warriors Project is a social justice lifestyle brand supporting holistic rehabilitation for veterans through community-based projects, proactive care advocacy, cannabis education and compassion WFWP urges change for the empowerment of the people.

    Corona Relief To The Central Valley

    Perfect Union presented an $800 check from money donated by customers at their dispensaries to Ashley Rojas, the Executive Director of the Fresno Barrios Unidos. The money will be used to purchase laptops for the Barrios Unidos Youth Academy. Perfect Union also donated various household essential items, like food, blankets and hygiene products, to the Poverello House. The goods, valued at approximately $1,000, will be used to provide essential supplies to families who utilize the Poverello House for healthcare, meals, shelter and social services.

    Our monthly breakfast service at Friendship Park is now a drop off due to social distancing concerns. We are proud to continue to provide this service for those in need.

  • Donations for Autism Speaks
    Donations for Autism Speaks

    In April, we collected $1,122.08 in donations for Autism Speaks, the largest autism advocacy organization in the United States. Autism is a condition that affects 1 in 54 children nationwide. The funds go towards awareness outreach, research efforts, and services that directly help people with autism.

    Wellspring Women’s Center

    Working with Wellspring Women’s Center, Perfect Union team members now volunteer monthly to serve breakfast at the center. The Wellspring Women’s Center was established in 1987 in the neighborhood of Oak Park in Sacramento. The women’s center provides nutrition, safety net resources, as well as many other essential resources for women and their children. We are very excited about this ongoing opportunity to serve the community.

  • UC Davis Children’s Hospital
    UC Davis Children’s Hospital

    In December of 2019, we raised $1293.94 in donations collected for the UC Davis Children’s Hospital Annual Toy Drive.  The Perfect Union team shopped for toys, games, and books for children of all ages.  They were delivered in time for Christmas so the kids could enjoy a surprise during their time at the hospital.

  • Mercy Pedalers
    Mercy Pedalers

    Perfect Union is proud to have recently partnered with Mercy Pedalers, a local Sacramento organization founded by Sister Libby Fernandez, RSM in 2017. This organization aims to supply resources to those in need on the streets of downtown Sacramento. They do their giving on bicycle and have many volunteer members. Through in-store donations collected this fall, we were able to purchase sleeping bags for Mercy Pedalers to distribute.

    Summer 2018, Perfect Union and Front Street Animal Shelter teamed up to host an adoption day at Perfect Union Northside. It was an amazing day and several pups were adopted to their forever homes!

    Sacramento SPCA

    Our four-legged friends (and all pets!) are family too. At Perfect Union we happily accept donations year-round to help support the Sacramento SPCA, whose mission is to “Give more than a shelter, saving animals one life at a time.” In 2018, with the help of our guests, $2,733.65 was collected in support of the Sacramento SPCA. Meow!
